Also, by chance would you know of the common problems with 4Runner back windows? Mine won’t roll down, but it clicks, so I know it’s getting power.

The motor is probably broken. Our ‘05 Sequoias rear window intermittently works. Like I said it just needs a window motor. If it’s clicking I’m going to assume that the wire that connects and rolls up the window broke.

The wire is fine, the motor just doesn’t activate. It’s like a dead battery click.

I would just replace the window motor. The roll down window is probably one of my favorite features that Toyota has. Our Platinum Tundra and Sequoia both have them.

I love using it, but the biggest problem with it being broken, is that I can’t access the rear now.

The 2 problems I have found with the rear window in the Sequoia... 1)At freeway speeds the exhaust started coming back into the vehicle... 2) It was one of the major factors that led to the rate of travel that led to me receiving a ticket... Woops.

That’s the cheapest one I have seen yet. Going to show it to my dad when he gets home. They’re usually around 5-6k. That one is also twand a half hours away so it’s not like it’s in my backyard.

They’re out there. We got a 2006 RX400h for $2500 from a customer. All it needs is a brake booster(which are expensive in those), maintenence, and some minor body work.
